End Products
The Sunshine Project will consist of three main units:
Ethylene Glycol, Ethylene and Propylene. These units make products that help manufacture many common items we use everyday.
- Ethylene Glycol is used to make numerous products such as polyester fibers for clothing and antifreeze for our vehicles.
- Polyethylene is used to make a variety of products such as artificial football turf and large plastic playground equipment.
- Polypropylene is used to make many common products including eco grocery bags, car casings, ropes and drainage pipes, as well as life-saving PPE (personal protective equipment), including N95 and surgical masks needed in the fight against COVID-19.
EVERYDAY PRODUCTS
The ethylene glycol, polyethylene and polypropylene produced by The Sunshine Project will be distributed to manufacturers to make everyday products, including those shown below.
